Coker Creek Heritage   The Coker Creek Heritage Group is a not-for-profit organization striving to preserve local history and the area's natural beauty through private individuals and partnerships with state, federal and local organizations.   The Coker Creek Heritage Group had its beginnings with the help of matching grants to hold workshops in different arts and crafts. When the US Postal Service closed the local post office, the Coker Creek Heritage Group worked to install a community post office. When it opened, The Welcome Center/Heritage Gift Shop opened as well to help support the Community Post Office and provide a way for our local artists/craftspeople to show their creations.   The Welcome Center/ Heritage Gift Shop provides area information for visitors and makes all feel welcomed.
